Who we are

Built by operators who ran out of patience.

Goodie is what happens when people who have actually operated messy businesses stop tolerating software that makes the mess worse. We came from the floor, the back office, the finance close, the payroll scramble, the inventory miss, the payment hold, and the support queue.

Origin
We did not start with a pitch deck.

We started with the same question over and over: why is the person running the business still doing the work the software was supposed to handle?

Goodie Company is a team of operators, engineers, and industry people who have spent real time inside the businesses we now build for. We are not trying to sound close to the work. We came from it.

We watched restaurants run on a stack of tools that never agreed with each other. We watched venues coordinate thousands of moving pieces while the software stayed trapped in departments. We watched payment processors treat legitimate growth like suspicious behavior and then hide behind vague explanations.

That is the common thread: operators kept getting sold tools, then still had to become the integration layer, the exception handler, and the person who figured out what actually happened.

The products
Each product came from a specific frustration.

Goodie is not one vague “platform company.” Each product exists because a real part of operations was broken enough that we decided to build around it.

Restaurant operations

hardt.

Restaurants do not need another disconnected module. They need scheduling, payroll, onboarding, inventory, compliance, and financials to understand each other before the manager becomes the system.

Large-scale venues

Venues operate in real time. Guest experience, facilities, payments, incidents, concessions, and staffing cannot live in separate silos when the building is full.

Payment processing

We did not set out to become “payments people.” We needed payment processing for our own businesses, and every time we grew, the big processors made it painful.

How we think
The point is not bigger software. The point is less operational drag.

A useful system should remove work, clarify decisions, and make the boring parts of the business easier to trust.

01

Context beats features. A feature that does not know the schedule, the employee, the payment, the inventory, or the close usually just creates another chore.

02

Operators deserve straight answers. Whether it is payroll, compliance, inventory, or processing rates, vague answers are expensive.

03

Integration should not be the customer’s job. If the platform sells connection, the platform should actually carry the context across the business.

04

We are allergic to software theater. Big text, fake dashboards, and polished nonsense do not help anyone close the day faster.

GoodiePay
The payment story deserves to be said plainly.

We did not set out to become “payments people.” We needed payment processing for our own businesses, and every time we grew, the big processors made it painful: vague reviews, delayed money, expensive rates, unnecessary service contracts and answers that never felt tied to the actual business. So we built our own gateway, kept the model lean, and now share it with businesses that would rather keep more of their money.

Built for ourselves first.
Now shared with businesses
that want to keep more.

Build less around software.
Build more around the operation.
